Can I just point out that Im Helen1 for COL and not helen from this vocal cafe. Just so we dont get mixed up.............no offence intended
right i thought i would set a trend. i am going to tell you a little bit about me. sorry its boring but just so you all have an idea of what kind of info about yourself will be interesting for me to read.
first off. i'm lyn :D i'm 42 and live in herts. i have loads of interests but no real hobbies.but if you have then, tell us about them. like i love reading about alternative history theories. don't really believe them but i do love the fact that some peoples imaginations are actually more vivid than mine :D i am a scouser and there is no putting down lfc on this board(my only rule)lol.i love stevie gerrard. he is god. i'm sure there is loads more about me that will come out in time. a word of warning tho. like all scousers i have a tendency to exagerate things so take most of what i say with a big pinch of salt ;).
i am looking forward to meeting old friends here and forming new friendships too. please remember this is a brand new forum and your support will be vital to keep it interesting and most importantly, fun fun fun.so come on people. get posting :)

Hi everyone and welcome to VocalCafe,
I'm Michelle, I am (cough) 37, I live in Liverpool ( wonderful city) I have three wonderful children, I have no hobbies so to speak of but am interested in many different things, am always up for a laugh (specially with a couple of v+c).
Like my fellow scouser Lyn I support LFC, although I do not fancy Stephen Gerrard quite as much as Lyn :D
I think this forum is going to be a lot of fun and piss taking, you are not going to get evicted for having an opinion and speaking your mind. Although never slag off LFC or the city of liverpool, that would just be stupid
Looking forward to meeting some new friends from around the country, and definately looking forward to meeting some crazies (in a good way) too. :o
Heres hoping it doesn't take too long.

I'm a member of Staff in the Air Training Corps, but when I have time, my hobbies include, Walking, Reading, Keeping Tropical Fish, and as mentioned above, Online Gaming.

I prefer watching Rugby though, and I support Leicester Tigers.

But why Liverpool! omg - this is outrageous!

When I was a wee nipper, Liverpool were winning everything, so I started supporting them. Much like the current crop of Chelsea supporters, and before that the Mancs.

Totally didn't see this thread & opened a new one just for me.
I'm Stephan. (old) Aged 33 and married with two great sons (4 & 7 almost 5 & 8) I live in Worcestar Park in Surrey. I'm one of the gaming crowd as mentioned by Andi & Angela. Also into mountain biking, airsofting (shooting each other with BB guns much like paintball) and big on music.
I run a small network consultancy from a wendy house in my garden. This is really camoflage for my gaming addiction though.
I can't stand football :o

I think we play everything and anything ... Simon is our fearless clan leader whom we all worship (cough) Personally I'm still hooked on Call of Duty United Offensive which is a ww2 shooting game 8-) but have dabbled with others. The unique thing about our clan is that it's pretty much as it is here , we're just a bunch of people from all over the place who have become great friends online and we meet up a couple of times a year . We get drunk , eat out and generally have a great time over a long weekend away  It's like having an extended family . Although I'm the only female in the clan I can still kick Butt and I get away with murder most of the time ;) and the guys look after me at LANs

Suppose I had better introduce myself. I am Jim from sunny Aberdeen. I work with Simon (for my Sins) and do most of the stuff while he sits on his arse, drinks coffee and looks out his window.
I am married with 3 kids. I know my youthful looks are deceiving. The 2 boys are (nearly!) 10 and (just turned) 3. My ickle girl is 7 months old. Aaaah. I am also the owner of Scooby the scattiest Xcollie in the World.
I eventually joined the broadband family this year and spend most of my time building up my downloaded porn collection and playing games. Although not online yet. As my bandwidth is filled with aforementioned downloads.
I LOVE Football. (Come on the Gers!). And golf. Although I am pish at both!

I am a recoving WoW-aholic (http://www.wow-europe.com). It has been around 6 months since my last session and i'm living one day at a time.
Currently working my way through all the single player games I missed whilst pandering to my addiction - stalker & supreme commander at the moment. Also waiting for The Next Big Thing (tm) which will probably be TeamFortress 2 in a few months. That dastardly Ray fella is currently dangelling the Silkroad carrot over my head though (free mmo online game). Have resisted so far, but it's a close thing. Resist!

Dish the dirt on Simon? Surely his mum would have more dirt than Lil ole me!!!
I do happen to know that his claim to have not thrown up since he 15/16 (uh ohhh  naughty Simon... underage drinking!! ;) ) was recently removed cos of a trip to Dublin to see Peter Gabriel.... His text said 'At gig.. Very drunk. Lost james and ray already. Weird!' shortly followed by 'Am being sick for the 1st time in ages. Waiting til I sober up.' I'm amazed that he managed to even text.. but it was very funny to get them... rofl!!
Simon
31st July 2007, 10:25
pfft
I'd freely admit that I threw up - and was proud as hell! (I actually enjoyed it, in a perverse way). Was Peter Gabriels fault cos he didn't have any spirits at the gig. I mean, who only supplies wine and beer ffs!
