Are there any Barf feeders here? I am seriously considering it when we get the next pupster but am (again) a little apprehensive. I want to do the absolute best for her but what is the absolute best? Premium kibble or Barf?

Sorry no advice on BARF feeding, but I'm sure you will do the best for her when she gets there! :077:

Hi - please note that this is from the course and not necessarily my point of view :072:

According to the course I did ALL kibble whether premium or other wise are not much cop as they have ALL been processed at a high temperature therefore lost all the nutrients hence they then have to use additives. (which kind of makes sense)

The course basically said if you are gonna feed kibble then at least give the dogs table scraps in with it so they actually get some nutrients.

Below is a couple of websites about kibble food that I found really interesting (not from the course, but someone on another forum posted these, no not that forum :063: - I am a member on other forums too :044: )

There is loads of stuff to search and research and I'll send you some stuff in the post :075: then you can make your own mind up

I'm still reading but seriously looking at changing to BARF for my lot

Give me a text if you free in the day tomorrow or wed or thurs and I'll ring you
