I'm in the middle of changing foods for my two yet again :063:
This last kibble hasn't suited them and i have a bag and a blinking half left of it :063:
They get kibble mainly and one ot two meals a week of BARF (mainly cos I am too scared to go fully BARF and also still trying to convince OH)
I am just changing them back on to Autarky - as fern has put a lot of weight on (even tho I have reduced the amount she has) and both dogs have awful wind since being on what they were on (yes worse than mine before anyone makes a comment )

Fred is on Burns active and we are going to stick with it and his meds for a couple of weeks to see how we get on and then if necessary going to change to something hypoallergenic to see if he manages to put on any weight.. He loves his burns and wolfs it down unlike his previous kibble..

Pure raw plain and simple ;) although I do have natures diet on standby if I forget to defrost something........it's a purely meat and veg wet food :044:
Good luck with your wind problem :064:

burns active ( working dog mix ) for me as well tho my sisters fussy anorexic derhound who has refused to eat at all for 4 days is going to go on to chappie complete as a last ditch hope.
shes been seen by vets behaviourists etc and there is NOTHING wrong with her but for some strange reason she does not like food and will actually starve herself until my sister nearly has a flaky then she will just start nibbling again ( after losing all her weight and getting to look like a bag of bones.) apparantly the only known healthy dogs to do this are salukis and deerhounds. the norm is a healthy dog will not starve itself.
queer when all her other dogs eat really well.
all our dogs get a fair bit raw as well. theyve been feasting on venison this last while. makes for interesting poohs and mega farts tho!

Raw here... she was on JWB when she was eating kibble (or should I say, when we were putting kibble in her bowl and she was sniffing it, eating a couple of peices, and then turning her nose up at it!!).

Burns here - Max wolfs it down, but then I think he'd eat anything

Mine are on Skinners Hypoallergenic - with a fork full of Nature Diet or pilchards in it. They were all on burns before...but since getting four dogs can't afford - the make up of the skinners is very similar to burns/JWB but lots cheaper!!!
Not quite got my head round BARF:(

Mine get cooked meat (beef chunks, heart etc) with working dog mix. They do occasionally get cooked veg if I'm in the mood to cook. They had heart, potato, carrot, chinese leaf and spinach the other day...

Tonnes of different stuff :046::046: Goose, Otter and Sweepie get Arden grange, Belle and Daisy get Burns venison and brown rice, all but Goose gets nature diet as it gives goose the runs, they get applaws tins, pedigree better by nature tins, the get sardines, eggs, other fish, liver, porridge, mince and a variety of meaty bones. For the 1st time the other week I plucked 2 pheasants, cut the head off and the wings got will to gut them and goose and Otter had them :046: Otter did find one of the heads I cut off, eat it and passed a whole beak the next day :046:
