Okay, so all my dogs are very vocal (can't think where they get that from :045:). But, generally they only bark to alert to something. Mika can't seem to distinguish between something that needs alerting to (someone at the front door for example) and something that doesn't (a creak in the building, a car driving past etc). Its quite a piercing yap. I wouldn't mind if she alerted to it, but when I told her to stop alerting to stop, but she doesn't! She continues her yap yap yap!! Its not a huge problem, but if I could quieten her down a little my ear drums would be thankful! te he

When you figure it out then let me know. My two bark if a worm farts :063: Lyla may quieten down with the quiet command but when Kali (who does her own sweet thing regardless of what I say) keeps on barking then so does Lyla. I am sooooooo thankful that I will not have close neighbours soon!

I have finally reached the end of my tether - Robbie was not a yapper - till Madam Floozy came along.
I used a water spray on them a couple of times last week with a stern "No"!! Now i just show them the water spray and they stop!!! Result!!

Marty does the same, in fact he just barks if he ever sees a bird, hears a noise outside inside doesnt make much difference!
