I'd like to get some basic agility stuff to give Fargo something different to do, but don't know where to start! I've had a look on ebay and elsewhere and it either seems so expensive, or looks like it would blow over in a light wind :045:
Have you got any pointers as to what to get and where from?
Many thanks :054:

Happy to help! :) www.Jump4JoyAgility.co.uk (http://www.Jump4JoyAgility.co.uk) is good for low maintenance jumps and weave poles - they're good quality but not too pricey.
The childrens play tunnels are good initially, but you find they do blow away in the wind and you can't bend them, I managed to get an off cut of air conditioning ducting as our tunnel as its more rowbust but not as dear or heavy to carry as the proper agility ones - I'll ask Dad where he got it.
You could make or buy a contact trainer to work the contacts with (its a scaled down cross between A-Frame and Dog Walk):

To teach the tyre, with Penny I started out with a childrens hula hoop to get her going through a hoop. We have a life buoy in a frame now. And no I didn't half inch it from down by the river!!
We started out with a fair bit of home made, and saved up for the KC approved stuff bit by bit as we did more and more.
Max does agility, I think she's at a show today though, she may have some good advice.
I think Fargo is going to be one happy boy!! :):):)

Sorry, I don't know where else to suggest, I don't know whether you'd get anything from the flea market on agilitynet, probably expensive.
Sorry no use am I, we don't have room to practice - shame as we need it!

Contacts points sounds serious :045: Unfortunately I have no agility clubs near me to go to, so it's really just for fun and to give him something different to do, and occupy him mind occasionally. It's a shame as there is a good permanent agility setup in a park nearby, but no-one to teach there.....
Thanks for the link, I'll have a look on there :044:
