Sam's new fear

We went to PAH tonight to get Sam a treat after being such a good boy at the vet.

Standing in the queue minding my own and a wee girl comes up and wants to clap him and says how lovely he is. He was being such an angel and sat down to be clapped.

Then.........................

A woman comes in the shop, just off her motorbike, helmet still on and Sam went berserk!!! Seems he does not like bike helmets and was growling, barking, woo wooing and trying to back off, while I'm trying to pay for his stuff!!!

The wee girl who was clapping him and saying what a lovely dog he was, was now terrified and hates him!!!! Poor wee thing.

I think the whole shop heard him and of course the queue just happened to get bigger and bigger at that point!!

Anyone else's dog have a weird fear? Or is it just mine? :064:

I don't think that's a weird fear, I think it's perfectly reasonable to be afraid of something like that. What a shame for that little girl to be scared off Sam because the silly woman didn't take her helmet off.

I agree.....sounds like you may need to borrow a helmet and get him used to them....what if you start dating a biker boy ;)
