I really think,it,s the best advice ever, getting mabes, when sir jasper was already 3 was a good move, she copied everything, the only thing i had to teach her was the wee wee job,as a result of having her when he was that age,all trained, and disciplined, made life so much easier, she jumped into his world, did all he did,and was as calm, and relaxed as sir,i,m sure he was a better role model, and taught her all he knew, better than i did,lol well done sir you did her proud,.....have your dogs copied?? xxx

Unfortunately YES :045: Rhum (lab) has copied lots of things from fern but the main thing I have to try and teach him is going to be the hardest

He thinks he is as small as she is and can lie on the back of the settee like she does and can jump into my lap for a cuddle

Yip. Not a lot but it is funny to see Lyla trotting round by Kali's side like a baby sister!

I agree - mine have all learned very quickly from each other.
I think the quickest thing they learned was to go in their crates at meal times, "in" command (to come back into the house!) "out" command (to go outside to the garden!) and "back" when I need them all to back up so I can actually open the door to get them out or in!!!!!

It also helps when pups first go off lead cos they stay with the rest of the gang and although I have always done one to one training for recall, it helps! (My favourite bit of puppy training is the recall when Trev and I take the pup to a field and call it back and forth between us - treating when it comes. I love the look on their little faces when they are running towards you all legs and excitement..... I looooove puppies!!!)

NO I DO NOT WANT ANOTHER PUPPY I CAN ONLY COPE WITH 5 DOGS I DO NOT WANT ANOTHER PUPPY

(Honestly!)

At three Breeze was not house trained, the lady that owned her previously kept the dogs in a back room, and they did whatever anywhere. Breeze soon learnt from Coco that the garden was a better place, now its funny cause she stoop's down and he sit watching and waiting till she finishes so he can mark the spot.

She taught him, that if you don't eat your food as the dish hit's the deck, you don't get a second chance, because she can cover two dishes..
