I had the girls in two travel crates like these http://www.petsathome.com/shop/atlas-wire-door-dog-carrier-by-ferplast-13643
So in my infinite wisdom and because I thought they would be ok in the same cage, I bought a black dog cage big enough for two and yesterday we set off on a jaunt up to Loch Ness. All was ok until we got near Elgin and then fur started flying. They were snarling....or rather Lyla was...... and it got so bad that we had to take Kali out of the crate and put her in the back seat.:062:
Does anyone know why they might have acted this way? I am going to buy another cage anyway when I can get to House of Bruar but I haven't a clue why Lyla got so aggressive.

Confined space together for a journey sometimes can set them off - especially when they have been used to travelling in their own space
errm when you heading to Bruar ??? let me kniw and I'll meet you for coffee

Not sure but the cage we bought was only £39 and was big enough for 2..................or not as far as Lyla was concerned!

MM for the same reason the cage I put mine in while we are camping is the largest you can get its for a Rotti, and the still build a duvet wall in the middle of each over. neither of mine like to give up there own space. It could have been for that reason alone, that yours sparked off.

Thought so. I can get two of the cages side by side so I will get another one.
Sorry Theresa and Lisa. By the time we were at Elgin on the way back, Stumpy was not in the best of moods with Lyla or Kali :076:
